TEHRAN - The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Torbat-e Jam criticized the performance of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) yesterday.
In a meeting between the Sunni and Shia clerics in Torbat-e Jam, Khorasan Province, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of the city, Sharafoddin Ommi al-Ahmadi, said the IRIB should avoid airing programs which create tension in society.
IRIB has a great responsibility on its shoulder, he said, adding, "We do not want the organization to humiliate our sanctities."
